Live and Love A Lot.....

During the past couple years I have learned that a certain  family member(s) doesn't care to be included in our lives. Unless things aren't totally centered or focused on them then they could care less. With a couple exceptions....if it has to do with her parents, sister(s), cousins (even 2nd or 3rd), aunts & uncles and possibly the spouses mother. Plus you must "pay or buy" their time & affection with trips, gifts and plain cash out of our pockets. This same family member claims to be a christians...however I have not found one time during the past 10 years that she has been attached to our family name that she has done one single kindness for anyone but her own family. Relationships are built on 50/50 respect, kindness, caring and giving....not all one way. I believe it is the lack of maturity in this girl as she can't even provide a Birthday gathering without "mommy" doing it for her. Their home is decorated, painted, and put together by "mommy" too. So when do you cut the cord? I would have thought it would have happened after their marriage but no. Then when the two girls were born she might have tried...but it got worse. It's amazing as her 2 sisters seem to have a very level head and know how to do things for themselves and provide for their kids without the help of "mommy."  Life was so much nicer without this girl in the "Little Family"! Not only has she stirred up trouble but she has castrated her spouse to not be apart of any Little Family functions. All I can say for now is that Karma and God will take care of her someday...so I can just sit back and enjoy my family, make new memories, and plan for their futures of college graduates, weddings and our own grandkids.  HEY!
